Human mtDNA sequences database
Today there are more than 7000 complete/coding human mtDNA sequences in GenBank. Due to file size limitations on the web site (10Mb) they are packaged into 10 archives. Dowlnload all parts into one folder and unzip the last one.
To make *.txt files go to mtPhyl => Tools => Download DNAs form GenBank. Chose folder with .html files, then chose other two folders and press Extract sequences into *.txt format.
